Purpose of the Role
An award-winning Real Estate Investments Team (REIPF) is seeking a qualified Corporate Real Estate Lawyer to join their London office. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of PQE, with experience in corporate transactional law, particularly in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and joint venture transactions. While Corporate Real Estate experience is advantageous, it is not essential if the candidate is willing to focus on the Real Estate sector going forward.

The team has advised on complex transactions for clients including Ares, British Land, Aviva Investors, and various private equity funds, asset managers, and institutional investors.
What to Expect:
- Advising on corporate M&A transactions within the real estate sector.
- Supporting the structuring, establishment, operation, restructuring, and exit of joint ventures and other real estate investment structures.
- Collaborating with a diverse range of clients, including private equity managers, institutional investors, and developers.
- Actively supporting complex transactions, liaising with fee earners from other relevant disciplines as necessary.
- Handling complex management mandates in the real estate sector.
- Engaging in ongoing training and development opportunities to foster growth and career aspirations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- A robust understanding of the legal framework and market practices relevant to corporate real estate transactions, ideally acquired through experience in private practice.
- Confident negotiation skills, capable of leading or supporting key negotiations.
- Experience in drafting share sale and purchase agreements and involvement in various joint venture structures.
- Enthusiasm for building client relationships and a drive to establish a network of business contacts to support business development priorities.
- Ability to provide clear, practical advice with excellent attention to detail.
- Self-aware, approachable, and a team player who seeks and provides support as needed.
