Our client, a top US law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Legal Risk & Compliance professional to join them on a permanent basis in their London office - working as their new Risk Analyst.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to be part of a global team, advising Senior Management, Partners, Legal and Office Staff on legal matters affecting the firm.
As the successful Risk Analyst, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Producing and providing first level analysis of reports for Conflict Checks
- Facilitating client and matter on-boarding
- Conducting Risk Checks on new clients (conflicts, CDD, sanctions, etc)
- Monitoring changes to relevant rules and regulations (AML, SRA, etc)
- Assisting with maintaining databases, breach logs and risk registers
- Undertaking research and analysis
- Answering queries from Partners, Fee-Earners and staff at all levels
- Being responsible for reviewing, maintaining and gathering CDD evidence

To be considered for this Risk Analyst opportunity, you'll need to be/have the following:
- Have 2-3 years' experience in Legal Conflicts and CDD, from an international/US law firm
- Have strong knowledge/understanding of Legal Conflicts and AML
- Have a good understanding of corporate structures
- Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis
- Be familiar with professional bar rules, DAC6, AML and Sanctions regulations
