Role: Pensions Lawyer

An international law firm is seeking a Pensions Lawyer to join its dynamic team within the Employment, Pensions, and Remuneration sector. This firm is recognized for providing premium quality, full-service legal advice to major organizations worldwide.
The Role: As part of the Pensions group, you will advise employers, trustees, financial institutions, and governmental bodies on various aspects of occupational and personal pension arrangements. The role encompasses corporate, advisory, and litigation aspects related to pensions, offering the opportunity to work on both domestic and cross-border matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on pension schemes, including funding deficits, risk management, and pension scheme reorganizations.
- Advise on legal issues arising from the operation of pension schemes, including difficulties in financing defined benefit schemes.
- Assist clients with documentation drafting and offer practical solutions to complex pension-related issues.
- Work collaboratively within a team to manage and lead on pension-related matters.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer with relevant post-qualification experience in pensions, preferably gained at a City or regional firm with a recognized pensions practice.
- Exceptional academic record (at least a 2:1 degree classification).
- Strong leadership abilities and experience in team management.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to provide high-quality legal advice.
