Role: Associate – Pensions
Location: London or Newcastle
We are working with a prestigious global law firm seeking an Associate to join their dynamic Pensions team. With a presence in over 50 offices and more than 7,000 employees worldwide, this firm delivers top-tier legal services to leading corporations and financial institutions.
The Role: The Pensions team, part of the wider London Corporate practice, provides comprehensive advisory services to employers and trustees, covering areas such as governance, investment, buy-in and buy-out work, risk management, and pensions litigation. The team also supports international M&A and insurance-related transactions.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of high-quality pensions matters, with opportunities to contribute to the team's growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on general pensions matters, governance, and risk management.
- Draft documentation for corporate transactions and pensions-related agreements.
- Collaborate with M&A, corporate insurance, and dispute resolution teams.
- Work on both standalone pensions work and corporate support matters.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (2-4 years PQE).
- Experience in pensions advisory and corporate support.
- Entrepreneurial, driven, and ambitious.
- Strong technical skills with a high level of academic achievement.
- Experience in investment-related pensions work is a bonus.
