The Role:
As a Patent Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting attorneys and fee earners in delivering outstanding IP services. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and filing UK, European, and International patent applications.
Managing correspondence with clients, Patent Offices, and external stakeholders.
Diary management, deadline tracking, and ensuring all filings meet strict regulatory deadlines.
Handling billing, invoicing, and financial administration related to client matters.
Providing general administrative support, including document preparation, proofing, and formatting.
What We’re Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
✅ 1 to 5 years of experience as a Patent Secretary/IP Assistant within a law firm or IP practice.
✅ Strong knowledge of patent filing processes and regulations.
✅ Proficiency in IP management systems and Microsoft Office.
