My client, a heavyweight disputes law firm in London, is actively recruiting an experienced Paralegal who is fluent in Russian to join them on an initial 12m FTC – working as their new Paralegal.
The successful Paralegal will be working across their Business Crime and Commercial Litigation departments.
You’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Providing legal and administrative experience to Fee-Earners and Partners
- Translating and interpreting legal documentation from English to Russian and vice versa
- Conducting extensive legal research
- Taking detailed notes of meetings and conference calls with clients, Counsel and other third-parties
+ much more.
To be considered for this Paralegal opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:
- Be fluent in Russian (bi-lingual or degree level Russian)
- Have a completed LLB/GDL and ideally the LPC (or be studying for the SQE)
- Have at least SIX months experience within Commercial Litigation or Business Crime, in the form of a Paralegal
- Be experienced in using legal databases (LexisNexis, Westlaw and Practical Law)
- Be able to commute to a 12m FTC
- Be able to commute to the London office at least THREE days a week
