The Opportunity
Join the Commercial Disputes and International Arbitration team of a leading global law firm renowned for its expertise across both common and civil law jurisdictions. With a strong and growing presence in the UAE, this team is at the forefront of complex litigation and arbitration matters.

This is a unique chance to work on high-profile cases across key sectors, including shareholder disputes, professional negligence, real estate, and fraud. Your role will be instrumental in driving the firm's civil law practice forward, both in the UAE and on international matters with a Middle East focus.

Your Role
As a pivotal member of the team, you will:

  • Represent clients before UAE civil law courts and arbitral tribunals.
  • Draft bespoke legal advice and documents in both English and Arabic.
  • Lead on complex disputes across a range of industries, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of GCC/UAE legal systems.
  • Collaborate with the firm’s global litigation network, supporting cross-border actions.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the team’s overall development.

About You
We’re seeking someone with:

  • Civil law qualification (mandatory); additional E&W qualification is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, including exceptional drafting skills in both languages (mandatory).
  • A proven track record in UAE-based commercial litigation and arbitration, with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a top-tier firm.
  • Expertise in one or more of the following: shareholder disputes, professional negligence, real estate/construction, restructuring/insolvency, or fraud and asset recovery.
  • A strong market profile with potential for partnership within 2–3 years.
