My client, a top off-shore law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Risk & Compliance professional to join them on a permanent basis in their Southampton office – working as their new Client Onboarding Administrator.
This role will focus on supporting two senior figures in the firm – one being in Jersey, the other in Bermuda. The main purpose of this position is to ensure smooth and efficient client onboarding by acting as a bridge between clients and the back office compliance team.
As the successful Client Onboarding Administrator, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Establishing what due diligence is required to satisfy regulatory obligations
- Completing ongoing due diligence checks to ensure accurate information is always maintained
- Completing New Matter Opening Forms and conducting risk assessments
- Completing periodic reviews on all clients to ensure they’re compliant with the firms’ policies and procedures
- Monitoring and updating the status and progress of CDD processes for each matter
- Managing and developing trusted relationships with clients

To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:
- Have previous CDD/EDD and AML experience, either from a law firm or professional services environment
- Be able to commute to the Southampton office on a regular basis
- Be educated to a degree level
- Have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Ideally, have or be working towards an ICA Certificate in AML or Compliance (not essential)
