Assistant Manager – Global Compliance

My client, a leading offshore law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Legal Risk & Compliance professional to join them on a permanent basis – working as their new Assistant Manager in their Global Compliance Services team, situated out of their London, Jersey or Guernsey office.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience to join an established team!
As the successful Assistant Manager, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Updating and developing global Risk & Compliance policies and procedures
- Working closely with the Risk & Compliance team, General Counsel and the firms’ Governance Services team – analysing new legal and regulatory requirements
- Participating in testing the controls contained in the policies and part of their Compliance Monitoring Programme
- Assisting stakeholders with inquiries and compliance/business reporting
- Maintaining the firms’ policies and procedures Risk & Compliance page
- Working with the Business Services teams in connection to their policies and procedures, ensuring a joined approach to legal and regulatory compliance

To be considered for this Assistant Manager position, you’ll need to have/be the following:
- Have demonstratable experience working in Compliance, Risk, Client Administration or Operational Control from a regulated Financial Services business.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of AML regulations specific to multiple regions (UK, Jersey, Guernsey, Cayman Islands and BVI)
- Be capable of working independently w
- Have excellent written communication skills
