My client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an organised and proactive Administration Assistant to join their Biotech Practice Group in London.
The Role
As an Administration Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Biotech Secretarial team with a broad range of administrative and organisational tasks. This position would suit someone with strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and an interest in developing within a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Photocopying, scanning, emailing, and archiving documents
- Drafting and amending correspondence using Adobe PDF, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office
- Formatting and managing documents in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including creating e-bundles and carrying out document comparisons
- Monitoring electronic workspaces and filing correspondence appropriately
- Booking meeting rooms, desks, and client entertainment
- Assisting with billing, expenses, and time entry
- Supporting ad hoc projects
and general administrative tasks as required
About You
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organised, diligent, and able to manage competing deadlines
- Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently when needed
- Previous experience in a
professional services or legal environment would be an advantage, though
not essential
